Browser Buddy account deletion

Effective date: June 11, 2026. This page explains how to request deletion of Browser Buddy account data, what we delete, and what may remain for legal or operational reasons.

1. How to request deletion

Email support@lexoraxiom.com from the email address associated with your Browser Buddy account, or include enough information for us to verify that the request is yours.

If you have an active paid subscription, please cancel it first through the Stripe customer portal or ask us to help you coordinate cancellation as part of the deletion request.

2. What Browser Buddy deletes from its own systems

  • Browser Buddy account records we control in our Firebase/Firestore environment.
  • Plan and entitlement records, monthly usage records, and Stripe reference IDs linked to your account.
  • Support-side deletion request handling data when it is no longer needed for verification or follow-up.

3. What may not be deleted immediately or at all

  • Stripe may retain payment, invoice, subscription, tax, fraud-prevention, and accounting records where Stripe is legally required or operationally required to do so.
  • Technical logs, security records, or backups may remain for a limited period where reasonably necessary for security, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
  • Data stored locally in your browser or on your device, such as saved chat history, settings, consent flags, custom skills, and sensitive-site overrides, is not automatically removed from your device by an email deletion request. You can remove that data by clearing extension storage or uninstalling the extension.

4. Timing

We aim to respond to verified deletion requests without undue delay and generally within 30 days, subject to lawful retention requirements and any need to verify identity or coordinate an active subscription cancellation.
